Certain municipalities in the Maryland Region levy all properties within a Metropolitan District the recovery of construction costs for installing water and sewer mains amortized over a 40 year period.

Southern Utility Construction, Inc., an associated company to the Southern Land Company is the sole and exclusive owner of these authorized and mandated charges. Failure to pay such charges will result in penalties, interest and individual property liens and could be further subject to litigation.
